As an avid birder, I’ve traveled with my wife Jennifer all over the country on my birding experiences. But like most things in life, we’ve found that birding is best enjoyed with others who share our enthusiasm for the pastime. To that end, we’ve launched this new website and online community, BirdersHostingBirders.com, and we’d love for you to join us!
What is BirdersHostingBirders.com?
BirdersHostingBirders.com is an online, world-wide community of traveling birders who have agreed to open their homes to each other at no charge, in the interest of building friendships and enhancing birding adventures.
Why should you join now?
Two reasons: 1) Join by Monday, March 08, 2010 and we will donate $24.99 of your $49.99 one year membership dues to the San Diego Audubon Society, and 2) We’re ready to connect you with other traveling birders, as well as the wonderful listings already available on our website!
How can a membership benefit you?
The benefits are abundant! First, your lodging-related travel expenses become significantly reduced as you are welcomed into the homes of fellow members. Secondly (and we think most importantly), your whole experience is enriched by sharing your time with instant friends who also love birding, and yet also can offer an insider’s perspective on the local birding areas. Finally, as both our website and community continues to grow and evolve, our online resources will help inspire, plan, and build excitement for your upcoming trips!
What’s the catch?
Nothing—really! We are simply looking to quickly expand our membership and garner some momentum with your birding stories, photos, advice, and other insight. We’re building this community together, and you can be one of the first to share in the fun and progress!
How do you join?
It’s easy! But the offer ends Monday, March 08, 2010, so please:
